An all night long hackaton

The CROWD4ROADS “Data Jam” hackaton starts 27th September afternoon, as the closing event of the Summer School. Starting at 17:00, students of the Summer School will meet at the DATA building in Urbino and start designing and developing their projects focused on Open Data reuse, crowdsensing, data anonymity, and gamification.

Food and drinks will be provided by the CROWD4ROADS Summer School thanks to BP Cube.

The “Data Jam” will continue until 12:00 of the day after, when students will present their work at the Summer School’s closing event.

European Researchers’ Night

What does road surface quality, gravitational waves generated by astronomical events, noise on the streets of Barcelona, air quality, and media coverage of an election campaign have in common? These all are complex phenomena that have been subject of scientific observation and have produced Open Data, which we can now navigate, explore, and analyze in an original manner.

That evening, in occasion of the European Researchers’ Night 2018, the DATA building will stay open to the participants of the “Data Jam” and to the general public.

Data sets

The following projects will make their Open Data datasets available for hackaton participants.
